In recent times, many people have now really curious about artificial intelligence AI because of the popularity of OpenAI’s ChatGPT. it's popular now. many people are talking about it. Elon Musk, professors, and 33,000 others signed it. They want a break from making super powerful AI like GPT-4 for six months because they are worried about safety. The funny thing, Musk later said he’s starting an AI company, making things even more emotional about AI.

The Impact on Programmers and Job Security:

As the head of the tech group, I’m often asked about AI’s effect on programmer’s work and job security. Programmers used to make a lot of money, but now there aren’t as many good job opportunities. Economic problems are causing fewer jobs for programmers. The question is will AI reduce job opportunities for programmers?

Global Trends and Polish Programmer’s Strength:

Polish programmers have consistently ranked among the world’s top 10. A strong education focuses a lot on STEM subjects, which stands for Science, technology, engineering, and math. Poland’s time zone is good for working with other European countries. Programmers in Poland get valuable experience working for big international companies. About 75% of Polish programmers have higher education, and the remaining 25% acquire skills through practical experience.

Educational Landscape in Poland:

Poland has technical universities that are open to the public. This is a lot for a country with less than 38 million people. This has more people than California, even though California has a lot of residents. In Poland, students face work challenges in their second or third year of studies. They take on real-world tasks related to their field. Polish developers are good at English, so they can work on international projects well.

Concern About AI and a Call for Pause:

On March 22, 2023, Elon Musk and other important people wrote a letter. They want 6 months break from making the AI system stronger than GOT-4. They think it’s important to be careful with powerful AI. People are concerned that AI could become a big problem for society because it might be as smart as humans. Musk wants to stop AI development, but he’s also starting his own AI company. This makes the conversation about AI safety more complicated.

Emotional Atmosphere Surrounding AI:

OpenAI’s ChatGPT release stirred strong emotions about AI. People feel strongly about its impact. Many developments followed the release, adding to the intensity of emotions surrounding AI. The safety concerns and push for advancements in the field make the atmosphere dynamic. It’s always changing.

Job Security for Programmers in the Age of AI:

The bad economy is making it hard to find jobs, especially for programmers. people are scared about not keeping their jobs now. AI, like ChatGPT is growing fast. This could make computer programming jobs less certain. People are working on even smarter AI systems. More advanced systems are being developed, raising questions about the stability of programming careers.

 Polish Programmers: Strengths and Assurance:

Polish programmers consistently achieve top ranking globally, despite widespread concerns. They stand out for their excellent performance. Polish programmers are strong in STEM fields because that’s what they focus on in school. They also work in big companies internationally, gaining lots of experience. They are good at English too. This makes them tough against AI changes. Combining higher education and hands-on experiences makes a flexible workforce that can handle global projects effortlessly.

Conclusion:

In summary, AI vs. programming is a never-ending debate people worldwide feel both cautious and excited about AI. Polish programmers are well prepared in these changing fields, having a strong foundation. Education, hands-on experience, and the ability to work on global projects help them stay successful, even with the uncertainties of AI’s rapid growth.
